How long we keep your data

Your profile, travelers, reservations, and payment history stay while your account is open. The things below go sooner, and the portal removes them on its own when their time is up. Periods marked “Not automatic yet” are our rule, but the portal doesn’t apply them on its own yet.

Retention periods

  • Cards you enter from a secure card link

    21 days

    after you save the card

    Removed
    The card in our secure card vault, the name on it, its billing ZIP code, and its expiration date. The link stops working.
    Kept
    The card brand, its last four digits, and the authorization you agreed to.

    If we’ve given the card to Disney for your booking, Disney keeps its copy under its own policy.

  • Emails we send you

    1 year

    after we send it

    Removed
    What the email said.
    Kept
    The address it went to, when we sent it, and whether it was delivered.

  • Confirmation screenshots

    1 year

    after the stay’s check-out

    Removed
    The image of the booking, listing, or service request confirmation.
    Kept
    The file name, who uploaded it, and our review of it.

  • Accessibility requests

    1 year

    after the stay’s check-out, or the end of the Disney Direct trip

    Removed
    Whether you asked for an accessible villa or room on a stay or Disney Direct trip you requested, and which kind.
    Kept
    The record of your consent to share it. For now, a stay’s change history still shows the earlier request.

  • Pages you visit and buttons you press

    Which pages you opened and which buttons you pressed, on what size of screen.
    Kept
    Nothing.

    On the live portal we record these only if you allow analytics, and never on agreement, payment, card, or account deletion pages.

  • Accounts that go unused

    The account, as if you had asked us to delete it. We email you first, and signing in keeps it.
    Kept
    Only the records below, each for its own period.

  • Records we keep after an account is deleted
